Historic, listed former winery with former agriculture and animal husbandry. The property, a four-sided farm dating from 1726, is located in the historic centre of Flörsheim-Dalsheim, one of the most beautiful places in Rheinhessen. Ideal for lovers of the flair and charm of times gone by. We acquired this property in 2015 and lovingly renovated it with great dedication. We placed special emphasis on using only traditional materials and preserving as much of the historical style as possible. For example, only lime plaster was used for plastering the ceilings and walls, followed by lime paint. The old building material lime manages to do what the new modern building materials cannot, it regulates the air humidity excellently and breaks down pollutants in a completely natural way. This significantly improves the indoor climate. The windows of the dwelling house were newly manufactured from oak according to an old pattern. The floors were reworked, partly newly laid in oak and then recoated with a biologically harmless coat of hard wax oil. The traditional tiled stoves are still in use. A new gas heating system was added, which supplies all rooms of the house with heat via tubular radiators. These radiators predominantly give off pleasant radiant heat, thus little convection of the room air, which is advantageous for allergy sufferers. When you enter this house, you will not only feel the past and enjoy details such as bakelite rotary switches, but in particular you will breathe healthy air here. The two-storey house has over 200 m² of living space, faces the street from the eaves and is closed by a gable roof. A Rhine-Hessian gatehouse with good proportions is attached. All guest rooms are on the first floor, accessible via a staircase from the inner courtyard. The spacious outbuildings (barn, horse, pig and cow stables) as well as the old wine cellar are also interesting and we would be happy to show them to you on a tour. The secluded inner courtyard offers a sheltered location, disconnected from the outside world. Beautiful seating areas invite you to linger. Here you can let your soul dangle.
