Nestled in the Rhine meadows near Hamm, directly at the Rhine ferry and a short distance from the weekend area at Eicher See, lies the site of the Golf-Club Worms e.V. This was founded in 1978, making it one of the oldest in Rhineland-Palatinate. The course was opened in 2000 with 9 holes, approved and designed for 18 holes.
Level and wide fairways and good clarity, lined with hedges, roughs and terrain depressions, make the course beginner-friendly. For experienced golfers, water hazards, doglegs, dry ditches and bunker-reinforced finely modelled greens are a challenge.
In the cosy clubhouse with sun terrace it is worthwhile to end the golf day in a family atmosphere. The golf instructor teaches experienced golfers as well as golf beginners competently by appointment.
