The KUZ – Kulturzentrum Mainz is a location steeped in history. With its diverse cultural program the KUZ was, until its closure in 2015, a fundamental component of the regional and transregional cultural landscape as well as a popular event location. To ensure the commercial use of the KUZ as an event location in the long term, a conceptual remake together with a constructional renovation were set off, which was completed in 2018. The aim was to create a modern event location with an industrial-historic charm. Your special events such as conventions, road shows or corporate events can be optimally presented in this extraordinary location with an event area of 706 sqm on two floors and in close proximity to the river Rhine. The Werkhalle is characterized by its industrial atmosphere. Modern technology makes this hall to an ideal space for individual events with a special charm. With an indoor and outdoor area, the Waschhaus offers a casual, industrial environment for any event with a bar look. The Lehrsaal on the 1st floor impresses with its modernity and can be used for smaller events. The KUZ offers a mobile production studio for digital or hybrid events.
