The "Löschhäuschen" was built by the Niederhausen / Appel fire brigade support association, with the kind permission of the Niederhausen an der Appel community. This means that hikers on the Hiwweltour Tiefenthaler Höhe have the opportunity to take a break at the "table of wine" to fortify themselves with regional wine, but also with non-alcoholic drinks, while enjoying the wonderful view of our idyllic Appelbach valley. Payment is made on a trust basis, in cash or via PayPal. The proceeds from our “Löschhäuschen” go to the Niederhausen / Appel e.V. fire brigade support association and thus the general public. This has been supporting the work of our local fire department for over 20 years. Thanks to the initiative of the fire brigade support association, numerous purchases have been made in recent years and thus a contribution to the safety of our citizens has been made.
