Only archaeology can look deep into human history and from what archaeologists discover there, we learn a lot about ourselves as humans. In the exhibitions of LEIZA, everyone can discover interactively and digitally supported what makes archaeology so interesting for all of us and what value it has for us in the here and now.
Our permanent exhibition "Living Together" addresses the question of what connects us as community-living people and why we still act so differently. It focuses on togetherness — from the Stone Age village to the Byzantine Empire — and thus highlights an area of research at LEIZA.
