The winemakers Jochen and Thilo Hein both have their home in the 'Zellertal', in the deep south of Rheinhessen. Their winery is family owned since 1837. Where Rheinhessen and the Palatinate meet, the vineyards in the valley extending from west to east are under the typical influence of the west wind. These natural conditions inspired both of the broters to call the winery 'Westwind Weine'. Freedom, change and strength are aspects that are associated with the wind. That's why the wine range is divided in three profiles with just these names. A modern construction inn the old walls of the family winery signalizes with fresh glowing green that a young generation which wants to give their wine the right frame is at the helm. The wine can be tasted an bought on three levels, guests can be served and the wonderful view is getting admired.
