Antique floors, sustainablen wine growing and accurate work- the result is wine that goes to he heart. Time has another dimension in the wine growing world: The tile mountain in Ensheim emerged approximately 280 million years ago because of the collapse of the Rheingraben. It's a classic southern slope which mostly consists of lime marl and a barren rock formation. The character of this very old rocks can be found in the taste of lots of wines from Leo Lahm. Keeping the tradition, maintaining the values and nevertheless being open for the new- that's the basic idea of the winemaker family. The new vinotheque 'Vinum LL' meet modern architecture and traditional wine culture: the panoramic windows offer a wonderful view into the vineyards. Guests can learn interesting stuff about the close interrelations between the ground, landscape and wine at wine hikings that are offered by the vinotheque and of course always end with a wine invitation. The event vinotheque can also be rented as a room for special celebrations- for marriages with a panoramic view, round birthdays with the finest culinary catering and a general programme.
