The baptismal church of Hildegard of Bingen in Bermersheim v.d.H. has been used repeatedly since the Reformation and finally to the present day as a Simultankirche - a church used separately by both denominations. This is a Franken characteristic and it stands under the patron of Saint Martinus.
The culturally and historically significant St. George's Chapel from the 10th century is located on the ground of a villa rustica that was built in 40 AD. Once an important pilgrimage site on the Roman Route Rheinhessen, St. George's Chapel is now only accessible during guided tours or events.

Oppenheim has a unique cultural monument with its wide cellar systems. A circular route through the underground town center of Oppenheim leads through corridors and cellars with a special atmosphere. The extended systems weren't just wine cellars which are popular in every other wine village, but they were also a storafe room for other goods. It's a confusing system with lots of these rooms under the old town with endless aisles and connected cellars which are partly on top of each other on several floors.
The St. Wendelinus Chapel in the area of the western end of the village is the oldest building still standing in Offstein. The chapel was built outside the village around 1535. It is unknown who initiated, executed and financed the construction of the building. The chapel was also called the "Heiligenhäuschen" or "Helljer-Heisje" for short.
