Making a new experience together
To begin the day with blacksmith's fire and to ignite it together is the first common task for all the participants. Parents and kids create their common artwork and learn to pay attention to each other and to accept the ideas of others. For many turning a work day with lots of ideas, wishes, happiness, talks and thoughts together into an unique artwork is a whole new way. The participants learn without any prior knowledge how to handle fire as well as forging and welding techniques. Each participant can begin his own process beforehand by bringing his own material that he wants to incorporate into the objects. We will develop the art works out of findings, brought objects, scrap, discarded utensils, organic material or an own idea. A selection of materials can also be purchased during the workshops in the magic forge.
