In an extensive permanent exhibition at the Historical Museum at the River in Bingen, you can experience the life and work of Saint Hildegard of Bingen. The multimedia exhibition provides an authentic image of the abbess and offers an exciting journey back in time to the Middle Ages. Additionally, the 'Hildegarten' showcases a variety of plants mentioned in Hildegard's natural science writings. As the latest addition to the Hildegard experience, the 'Elevator into the Past' can be visited at Villa Rupertsberg.
