Call for submission of LEADER projects in Rheinhessen

The Local Action Group of the LEADER Region Rheinhessen launches another project call in the funding period 2014 - 2020. Interested individuals, public agencies, associations and organizations have until April 5, 2019 , to submit their ideas to the LEADER office in Alzey. In total, € 495,000 (including EAFRD funding of up to € 400,000) will be available for the funding of innovative projects in the LEADER region of Rheinhessen.

The selection of eligible projects is expected to take place on May 9, 2019 in a separate meeting of the Executive Board of the LAG Rheinhessen. Crucial for the selection is the quality of the planned measures, which is assessed using a points system. This is about the innovation content of the project, the importance for the region and the implementation of cross-cutting goals, such as whether the project is a regional identity, supports cooperation or strengthens volunteer structures.

In addition, the project idea must be fundamentally eligible and support the implementation of the fields of action of the Local Integrated Development Strategy (LILE). These are: developing the quality of experience, discovering the region in a pleasing way, sustainably shaping the future, enhancing the cultural landscape and experiencing a diverse history.

In this call, project profiles can be submitted for all fields of action of the LEADER Development Strategy (LILE) Rheinhessen 2014 - 2020.

The LEADER region Rheinhessen includes the territory of the Verbandsgemeinde Alzey-Land, Eich, Woellstein, Wonnegau, Wörrstadt, Bodenheim, Rhein-Selz complete and parts of the Verbandsgemeinden Gau-Algesheim, Nieder-Olm, Sprendlingen-Gensingen, Bad Kreuznach and the city Alzey , A map of the LAG area can be found at www.rheinhessen.de/unser-gebiet

The project profile, which serves as a decision-making basis for the LAG, must be submitted in full to the LAG Rheinhessen office by 5 April 2019 and can be downloaded at www.rheinhessen.de/formulare-fuer-projekttraeger .

Please note that a grant application under the positive selection decision of the Local Action Group must always be submitted to the Authorization Office (ADD Trier) within 6 months and will result in a non-timely (complete) application for the cancellation of the project-related positive selection decision and the reservation of the funding.
