The Herrensheim bathing lake is hidden on the track on the edge of the Worms suburb of Herrnsheim. A large parking lot is located directly on the 6-hectare site. When the visitor enters the site, they are greeted by a real idyll. The former quarry lake, with about 4 hectares of water, still rest at 4 m at the lowest point, depending on the water level. Large lying areas surround the lake; old and new trees provide enough shade. The Heimatkreis Herrnsheim operates the lake with many volunteers: Toilets, changing rooms and showers are available in sufficient numbers. Also, in good weather, a kiosk is operated with a variety of offer.
