3-Towers hike through the vineyards

On May 1, the Nierstein tourist office invites you to hike through the idyllic vineyards around Nierstein. The trail leads from Nierstein's market square along a well-marked 14 km hiking route to the three towers Wartturm, Schlossturm and Trutzturm. If you prefer, you can also take the 17 km route over the Brudersberg. The route is suitable for young and old, big and small, and with suitable footwear it is almost effortless through a beautiful cultural landscape. As there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing, the hike takes place whatever the weather! The start is on May 1st between 10 am and 2 pm on the Nierstein market square or in the parking lot at the REWE market. The starting maps and hiking instructions are available there. Refreshments and toilets will be available at all three towers as well as at the Rote-Hang-Hütte, the Fockenberg-Hütte, at the market square and along the hiking route. The tourist office will once again be supported by the town council and sponsors. Several thousand guests from near and far are expected to take part in the hike.

Entry fee: Adults purchase the hiking starter package for 3.00 euros, including starting card and hiking map; children up to the age of 15 pay 1.00 euro. Adults pay a total of 6.00 euros including wine glass. The moderate participation fees cover the costs of organizing and promoting the event.

Take part in the hiking competition: With the start card you will receive a coupon with which you can take part in a competition. Prizes include - Vouchers for a bottle of wine at the Nierstein wine presentation on the Roter Hang on 07.06. and 08.06.2024 - Tickets for the wine tasting at the Winzerfest and much more The coupon must be handed in at the start or finish. The board of the Nierstein Tourist Office will draw the winners in June, who will then be notified. Legal recourse is excluded. Participation in the 3 Towers Hike is at your own risk.
