he tour through the new stone hall of the Alzeyer Museum, designed as an architectural sculpture, offers an insight into Roman culture. Above all, the focus is on the richly decorated Roman heaven of gods, in which Greek traditions are combined with local Celtic traditions and sometimes strange innovations from the Orient. A special topic of the tour is the Roman health resort of Alzey with its sulfur spring and the numerous healing and spring deities worshiped here.
