The market always gets its incomparable ambience when darkness falls. Then thousands of cascading lights trace the outlines of the old park trees and the silhouette of the historic Kurmittelhaus, while the illuminated Rheingrafenstein rises imposingly above the Kurpark. Once again this year, a giant sleigh lights up the center of the historic Kurpark. At the market, a large number of stalls in the Kurpark, in the Brunnenhalle and again in the Kurpavillon invite you to take a leisurely Advent stroll. Visitors will find wooden art, hand-sewn items and many pretty gifts. The scent of freshly roasted almonds wafts through the air, candy apples tempt visitors with their bright red color and, in addition to hearty food, mulled wine, apple punch and co. from local winegrowers are not to be missed. A colourful Christmas program with various concerts and violin performances, a children's program, fire show and much more will provide variety. Children up to and including the age of 14 are free, while admission for adults and young people aged 15 and over is €4. Weekend tickets are also available for €6 and season tickets for €15. You can travel comfortably by train via Bad Münster am Stein station using the regional trains Bingen - Kaiserslautern and Mainz - Idar-Oberstein (or Frankfurt - Saarbrücken). Bad Kreuznach is available as a barrier-free train station in conjunction with barrier-free buses.
