Ingelheim history meets mature Ingelheim wines: The "old stones" part in the form of a one-hour tour in Nieder Ingelheim is taken over by the Ingelheim tour guides. Afterwards, the participating wineries present three mature top wines as part of a small wine tasting, and a secco is served as a welcome.

St. Remigius Church

Sensational archaeological finds are rewriting Ingelheim's history. Christians were baptized in the large church much earlier than previously thought. The sacred place - now remodeled as a baroque church - contains an early medieval baptismal font and sandstone sarcophagi and was the palatine church of the imperial palace. Embark on a journey of discovery and receive exclusive access to the church tower.

Afterwards, winemaker Thomas Werner will welcome you to his winery with a secco and present three matured wines. Be excited to see what development potential the Ingelheim wines have.
