JULIA BELOT - ANIMALS AND PEOPLE
Painting
Ms. Belot's craftsmanship in depicting natural phenomena and the animals in our lives “true to nature” is exciting from both an artistic and biological point of view. Julia Belot creates impulses with her paintings without sketching suffering, but rather by depicting the uniqueness and beauty of the various species. Nevertheless, Julia Belot's works raise the question of society's treatment of animals: Is animal welfare a task for society as a whole? Can we ethically justify factory farming and why do we treat pets so differently to farm animals?
