Backfischfest Worms

Every year at the end of August, the Nibelungen city of Worms invites you to the great festival on the Rhine. Young and old meet on the "Kisselswiese" to celebrate together and enjoy the special atmosphere on the festival square, in the Wonnegauer Weinkeller, the Stiftskeller and in the "Gaadewirtschaft".

It is the mixture of wine festival and folk festival that makes the Backfischfest so distinctive. Modern and traditional FAHRGESCHÄFTE, the smell of sweets and hearty meals as well as the good drops of our local winegrowers create a unique atmosphere, which attracts many guests from outside besides us Wormser.

The next Backfischfest will take place on August 24 - September 1, 2024.
