Chapelle d’amour

The program of the jazz formation consists exclusively of original compositions that have been created by the individual band members.

The compositions are arranged and worked on equally by all members, giving an originally individual work the stamp of the entire band. The music of Chapelle D’Amour is characterized by a funky rock groove base that is always varied. Virtuoso unison themes meet interlocking odd-meter grooves, collective free sound passages dissolve into thunderous riffs, and ballad-like pop melodies become an energetic carpet for the soloist. The influences of the musicians are widely scattered and range from contemporary jazz to hip-hop, rock, soul, and even new music. They are bundled and brought to an excitingly relaxed common denominator that constantly reinvents itself, keeping it equally exciting for the musicians and the audience.
