On the occasion of the Christmas market, the venerable town center around the town hall, the market square and the square in front of St. Catherine's Church is transformed into a Rhine-Hessian winter Christmas wonderland. Stalls full of handicrafts and Christmas delicacies invite guests from near and far to take a leisurely stroll through Oppenheim's old town, which crackles with Christmas atmosphere.
