Clive Carroll "live in concert"

Clive Carroll has established himself as one of the world's best acoustic guitarists. He has toured Europe, Australia, the Middle East and North America to critical acclaim for his sublime performances of everything from 16th and 17th century lute music to jazz standards, blues, Irish reels and groundbreaking original compositions. Acclaimed guitarist Tommy Emmanuel has also taken Clive on tour, and everyone from classical guitarist John Williams to Madonna, Guy Ritchie, Michelin Prize winner Jean-Christophe Novelli and the Sultan of Oman have paid tribute to Clive's musicality. Guitar legend John Renbourn became his mentor and In addition to his solo albums - "Sixth Sense", "The Red Guitar" (which Tommy Emmanuel describes as one of his "Desert Island Discs"!), "Life in Colour" and "The Furthest Tree" - Clive has also written music for television and film, composed the music for the film "Driving Lessons", starring Julie Walters and Rupert Grint from Harry Potter, and was involved in recordings for Lord of the Rings and many more. Most recently, he caused a sensation with the double album "The Abbot". On this album, he reinterpreted the music of John Renbourn and took the already brilliant compositions to a new level. Clive is making his 12th guest appearance at KulturGUT and is one of the "inner circle" of our gem's most popular artists.
