Experience up close as the lively wife of the night watchman and the sociable wife of the vineyard guard meet and chat animatedly about the town’s rumors—this promises to be entertaining. On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Culture and Wine Ambassadors Tatjana Best and Angelika Friedrich invite you to an entertaining costume tour, including a tasting of four wines, in Wörrstadt. The highlight of this tour is the encounter between Bertrada, the night watchman’s wife, and the vineyard guard’s wife, "s'Bawwetche," as they engage in lively discussions about the town’s rumors—this promises some good laughs.

The meeting point for the tour is at 6:00 p.m. at the Tourist Center Rheinhessen Mitte, Bahnhofstr. 21 in Wörrstadt.

The costume tour will take place with a minimum of 6 participants and costs €25.00 per person, including a four-wine tasting.
