Carla is a young teacher at a comprehensive school in Hamburg, which is not a problem school. The current scandal is the money that keeps disappearing from bags and schoolbags. So there is a thief at the school. Carla, who apparently cannot stand injustice, sets a trap for this person. And she is successful in her search. What develops from this, which conclusions from Carla's "evidence" are permissible and valid, can be seen in the whirlwind of events that ensues, which the director ends with a grandiose final image.
