As a keyboardist and pianist, songwriter, and producer, Johannes Wehrle has been working with various bands and artists of all genres from around the world for many years.
After over a thousand concerts in the background, he is now showcasing his own voice at the microphone and is on the verge of releasing his debut album, which he produced with Johannes Saal in the "Pink Moon Studios" in southern France. His music places the lyrics in German at the center of attention. Sometimes simple and touching, sometimes funny, sometimes reflective. He describes feelings, observations, and little stories honestly and calmly.
He shares the stage with Marie Feiler at Oma Inge. Singer-songwriter Marie Feiler grew up in Würzburg and moved to Berlin about ten years ago. Around the same time, her music journey began. Marie picked up a guitar, learned a few chords, and started writing down what moves her, initially in English. Songs about being on the road, the big city, homesickness, longing, and big dreams. In early 2019, Marie locked herself in a cozy studio with a few good friends and recorded four songs. The EP is titled ‘Dreamers’ and was released in the same year.
At the same time, Marie started writing new songs in German and especially began performing live. With a guitar in hand, she initially steps onto the small stages of Berlin, then plays at festivals, song slams, and living rooms. The new German songs are honest and raw and tell stories drawn from life. Marie simply and sometimes wonderfully ironically encapsulates interpersonal relationships and their complexities in words, bringing her listeners to smile, but also to reflect.
