“Creepy and mysterious” – We create Halloween ghosts

The new creative laboratory in the museum invites you to an artistic journey through time every first Sunday of the month from October to March. Whether little explorers or curious individuals - in workshops all guests can create original objects themselves and at the same time learn exciting things about Ingelheim's rich history.
In October, museum employee Sophie Borger takes you into the world of the spirits of the deceased. According to Celtic belief, these spirits return to earth on the night of October 31st to November 1st (Halloween/All Saints Day). In the workshop, little ghosts are created out of cotton wool, fabric and strings, which can later tell their spooky stories on the windows and doors at home.
