“Round and colorful” – We design pompom garlands and animals
Workshop
The new creative laboratory in the museum invites you to an artistic journey through time every first Sunday of the month from October to March. Whether little explorers or curious individuals - in workshops all guests can create original objects themselves and at the same time learn exciting things about Ingelheim's rich history.
Pompoms have a colorful history. They were originally used by indigenous peoples in North and South America as jewelry or clothing accessories. Museum employee Florine Jäger M.A. presents production forms made of wool and cardboard in the creative laboratory that can be transformed into colorful garlands or imaginative autumn animals such as rabbits, hedgehogs or foxes.
Workshop: Florine Jäger M.A., Museum at the Imperial Palace
Duration: individual, max. 3 hours
Participants: Families with children aged 4 and over, teenagers and adults
Cost: €5.00
