59-year-old Stefan Spangenberg has always wanted to realise something quite extraordinary. His plan: to walk from Ingelheim in Rhineland-Palatinate to Jerusalem in less than 300 days. 6,000 kilometres, 10 months, 10 countries, 2 continents, all by himself. Germany, Alsace, Switzerland, Italy, Albania, North Macedonia, Greece, the Monastic Republic of Atos, Turkey, Cyprus and Israel - and all on foot: it doesn't get much crazier than that!
