MAFFAYpur (Peter Maffay Tribute-Band)

With 50 million records sold, Peter Maffay is the most successful German-language artist and has even overtaken bands such as ABBA and AC/DC in the sales charts in Germany. Reason enough to pay tribute to this artist and this is exactly what the band MAFFAYpur, led by Wolfgang Terne, has set itself as its goal. The band consists of experienced live musicians who have worked with similarly successful musicians as Peter Maffay - such as Thomas Anders, Herbert Grönemeyer, PUR, Julia Neigel, Max Mutzke and even Maffay himself. MAFFAYpur is therefore not to be understood as a typical cover band, it is a loving homage from heart musician to heart musician.
