The Egg Market and St. Nicholas Church are the center of the medieval town. Here the historic townscape has been preserved. Around St. Nicholas Church and on the market square lined with centuries-old half-timbered houses, the Christmas market village invites you to linger. The traditional Advent market around St. Nicholas Church (Bad Kreuznach's oldest sacred building), offers numerous sales and food stalls in an atmospheric ambience. Among them are art and gift articles of various kinds. A highlight - not only for our little visitors - is the large Christmas crib. Numerous activities for children take place in the Christmas tent in the Poststraße (next to the children's carousel). Every day there is puppet theater with fairy tale plays. In St. Nicholas Church, devotions and meditations with music set the mood for the feast of Christ's birth. For the people of Bad Kreuznach, strolling through the market and meeting friends over a glass of mulled wine is a must.
