Peter Orloff & der Schwarzmeer-Kosakenchor

For more than 25 years, Peter Orloff has successfully led the Black Sea Cossack Choir, with whom he began his musical career over 60 years ago.

Since then,he has been in charge of the legendary ensemble where it all began for him.It was the life's work of his beloved father Nikolai S. Orloff (1900-1990) of the Russian choir that he now has the honour of continuing - a task that is still very special to him even after more than 25 years and to which he feels wholeheartedly connected.He will never forget the first time he heard ‘the lonely little bell’ as a young boy, which gave him that wonderful feeling of longing and melancholy that characterises the Russian soul so much.
