Are you in the mood for nature and would like to be outdoors? Would it also be interesting to find out things you didn't know before? If this sounds tempting to you, come to our guided tour from the ‘Nature - Stories’ series in Ingelheim. Here you will learn about the historical background of each location and a lot about special flora and fauna. This time it's all about the Bismarck Tower. Visible from afar, located between Bingen and Ingelheim, it is one of 146 Bismarck Towers still standing today. It was the most expensive in Rhineland-Palatinate. Do you know what this imposing building was built for? On our cultural walk, you will find out what the tower is all about and the story that this landmark tells. After climbing the tower and enjoying the sweeping view over the Rhine Valley, we will show you some botanical rarities along the way that will amaze you with their special characteristics.
