The tour begins at the old funeral hall and leads from there over the cemetery area including the Jewish part. The architectural history of the historical buildings is honored, the numerous monuments are explained in a historical context and some special grave sites are visited. Thus, the Alzey town history of the 19th and 20th centuries is shown from a very special angle.
