BOTH SIDES NOW - A tribute to Joni Mitchell and the music of the Woodstock generation

An illustrious guitar trio meets regularly at KulturGUT Bechtolsheim to indulge in their shared musical passions. This time, the "Ménage-à-trois" series celebrates songs by Joni Mitchell, the singer-songwriter icon, and her world-famous companions. Uli Kringler, Markus Gahlen and Roland Kalus are united by their love of Joni's outstanding/extraordinary compositions, and of course singer Elke Diepenbeck will also be performing some of the exceptional artist's profound works. With hopefully good weather, the spirit of '68 could really blow through the romantic courtyard ...with greetings from CSNY and Jaco...
...fresh works from the protagonists' own pens will also be heard, an evening full of surprises is casting its shadow ahead! Elke Diepenbeck, known for decades on the national and international scene for her collaborations and projects with Toto, Salvatore Adamo, Till Brönner, the HR Big Band, Ladies NYGHT and the Nightbirds, will put the icing on the cake with her varied and emotional voice. Uli Kringler is a successful producer, studio owner, guitar lecturer and one of the hottest musicians on the Hamburg scene. In addition to his work as a guitarist in bands such as Ulla Meinecke, Pe Werner and Julian Dawson, he has also been travelling as a soloist since 2006.
