SOUTHLAND STATION is a band from the southwest of Germany that plays music from the southwest of the USA. The band describes their mix of rock, blues, country, soul and roots as "american songwriter rock". Role models are Little Feat, John Hiatt, Brothers Landreth, The Band of Heathens and others. At the center of SOUTHLAND STATION's music are the songs of guitarist and singer Markus Frieauff, who shares the lead vocals with the powerful-voiced co-front woman Patricia Lösch. The sound of the five-piece band is characterized by earthy guitar sounds and the virtuoso piano and Hammond playing of keyboardist Mark Schwarzmayr. Admission from 6 pm, the event starts at 7 pm.
