Growing up on a farm in Upper Bavaria, after graduating from high school she travelled the world to Washington, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and then became a high-flyer on German cabaret stages. Even as a child, Franziska Wanninger drove her family to despair with her urge to speak and her penchant for drama. But it is precisely these qualities that characterise her enormous stage presence today.
