SUMMER IN THE CITY 2025 - Max Herre & Joy Denalane

Max Herre and Joy Denalane will extend their Alles Liebe tour in 2025. Just a few days after the release of their current, autobiographical album ALLES LIEBE and shortly before their eleven-show, nearly sold-out autumn tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland starts, Joy Denalane and Max Herre announced an extension of their "Alles Liebe" tour and unveiled a series of summer open-air concerts.

Max Herre and Joy Denalane are two of the most important and successful German musicians of the past 25 years. Joy is the great soul singer, who has set standards with her overwhelming voice on her groundbreaking, autofictional albums "Mamani," the album "Let Yourself Be Loved" released on Motown Records, and most recently "Willpower." Max, on the other hand, has established a completely new narrative form and musicality in German hip-hop and rap with his band Freundeskreis and their albums "Quadratur des Kreises" and "Esperanto," as well as with his solo albums "Hallo Welt" and "ATHEN." His MTV Unplugged from 2013 is still considered groundbreaking for live performances. Together, Max & Joy have received numerous gold and platinum albums, won awards, and performed outstanding tours.

Their joint debut ALLESLIEBE is much more than just an album about the story of Max and Joy. It tells of a universal concept of love free from bourgeois conventions, about love in all its shades. In seven short contributions from friendly artists, family, and companions such as Anna Dushime or Ebow, the multidimensionality and the diverse colors and forms of love are described, sometimes anecdotally, sometimes analytically, but always compellingly.

Musically, the album unites everything that one loves about Joy Denalane and Max Herre: the formative soul influences, the wistfulness, the gentle embrace, the soaring melodies, the observational talent, the sensitivity, the great pop, the lived fusion of hip-hop and R&B.
