Love match, or not? Despite the English aristocracy and good table manners, the esteemed Stanford family has a lot on its plate. But today is a happy occasion - a feast invitation at Stanford Hall: the youngest Stanford scion Frederic is getting hitched: Fleur de la Coeur, a French noblewoman from Toulouse, has fallen head over heels in love with the Englishman. Evil tongues suspect that the beautiful, albeit somewhat older Frenchwoman is only after his money, otherwise why would she get involved with the preening creep? But whether it's a love match or not, it's going to be a storybook celebration with all the trimmings. Butler James is supposed to get everything ready, but his dark past catches up with the party faster than even Father Black could have foreseen... That evening, our ballroom is transformed into a stately, old English castle. The guests find themselves in the middle of a crime adventure in the style of the 50s and 60s, following in the footsteps of Miss Marple and Edgar Wallace. And with a delicious menu, the performers also serve up some curious events in the search for the mystery of Stanford Hall.
