Over 1200 kilometers, Father Rhine flows from its source in Switzerland to its mouth in the Netherlands through Europe, with 90 kilometers of this passing through Rheinhessen. It offers a unique landscape and scenery, stretching from the cathedral city of Worms, along picturesque villages on the Rhine terrace, through the state capital Mainz, and to Bingen, where the Nahe flows into the Rhine. The nature along the Rhine is diverse and invites outdoor activities and leisurely strolls. Cultural highlights are abundant along this majestic river.
