Mainz Summer in the City 2015

The concert of this coming summer will have it all, because from the middle of June to the end of July again coveted musicians and world stars are on stage at "Summer in the City".

A genre-firework of lazy rock, various singer-songwriters, German master-rap-pop, French chanson, hits, sparkling hit-pop, distinctive soul, jazz and blues awaits visitors to the concert series.

Concert Locations

From Nordmole to Volkspark and Zitadelle: Mainz is back at its best at this year's Summer in the City. Special Locations, which give the musical masterpieces of national and international top stars an additional kick, form again this year a worthy ambience. So the citadel with its sublime panoramic view over Mainz, the green-flooded Volkspark, the moon-picturesque Nordmole, the historically significant postmodern Frankfurter Hof and the monumental scenario of the Mainz cathedral. Premiere has in 2015 the ship's platform on the cultural freighter "Cassian Carl", Rheinstraße, height Theodor-Heuss-Brücke. Mainz in Rheinkultur just!
