Rheinhessen-Touristik continues its successful activities.

The development of the number of guests in Rheinhessen has been steadily rising for years. A five-year comparison of all travel regions in Rhineland-Palatinate now confirms Rheinhessen's most dynamic development between 2009 and 2014.

Burkhard Müller, Assistant to the district of Mainz-Bingen and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rheinhessen-Touristik GmbH, makes it clear that "the sometimes substantial investments made in the last 20 years by private and public authorities for the expansion of the tourism infrastructure, only the Basis for this continuing popularity of Rheinhessen have delivered. And this year the positive trend is still unbroken. Between January and April 2015, 254,050 guests came to Rheinhessen, 3% more than in the same period in 2014. The number of overnight stays increased by 2% to 419,200 (Source: Statistisches Landesamt, Statistical Reports 04/15).
