The Klein winery is located on the edge of Mainz-Hechtsheim. We are a family run business. The family members are our most reliable helpers. Viticulture has been around in our family for ages. However, we did not start bottling our wines until 1999. That was a 1999 Gau-Bischofsheim Herrenberg Dornfelder QbA. Thus, we can now look back on 20 years of bottled wine. Winery Klostermühlenhof

In the 12th century already, Cistercian monks of the monastery Eberbach built the yard on the Selz. In the 17th century wine was exported from Rheinhessen to the UK from the monastery branch Wahlheimer Hof.
