MC Edition is the premium line of the Zehe-Claus winery. The winemakers Marcus Clauß and Birgit Zehe-Clauß run the winery in Mainz. Their philosophy is: "careful to the nature, characterized by the origin, with the handwriting of the winegrower, for passion and pleasure." Since 2010, the winery has been converted to organic management. For years, the wines have been awarded national and international awards. MC Riesling dry is z. B. awarded annually since 2001 by Mundus Vini.

After completing his studies in viticulture in Geisenheim and stays abroad in New Zealand and South Africa, Daniel Schmitt took over his parents' winery in 2009. The vineyards are located in the very best locations of the communities Mettenheim and Bechtheim. Following the motto "it's not just about discussing the wine - what counts, is manual labor, diligence and intuition to make the right decisions," Daniel Schmitt tries to get better every year. Recommended in: Gault Millau, Eichel- mann, Wein-Plus.
Our winery and the wines are the base of our success. A wine has many faces. It is pleasure, life and sociability, but also quiet companion. For us, tradition means commitment, and that in the 5th generation already. Quality is always a challenge for us. For us, the love of wine, the experience of nature and an exceptionally high quality standard are the most important. Preserving the natural character of the wines is our philosophy. A staggered, partially selective harvest and a subsequent gentle processing guarantee a high...

We, Carolin Willems and Jürgen Hofmann own two wineries, he Saar estate Willems-Willems and Rheinhessen Weingut Hofmann. It is very exciting and will be in the future. With our wedding in June 2006, we drew the bow between Saar and Rheinhessen and merged both wineries, also on a wine list. Our philosophy is to produce top wines - two different regions, different terroir, a large complete offer. With the new label equipment from the year 2011, we also optically implement our motto "slate meets shell limestone". A...
4.5 stars Eichelmann 2016: Award as newcomer of the year! "The Runkel brothers have made it to the top in ten years. The entry level is impressive, the top Rieslings clearly show the position differences. With 4.5 stars, the Bischel winery has now managed to climb into the "world-class" category. "3 Grapes Gault Millau 2016:" Bischel in Appenheim is one of the lighthouse corporations. The brothers Christian and Matthias Runkel even managed the feat of constantly increasing their footprint and further expanding their...
In 2001 Jochen Dreissigacker pressed his first wine "GEYERSBERG Riesling dry". In 2005, the 39-year-old took over the 42 hectare family winery in Bechtheim, Rheinhessen, which has been eco-certified since 2007. The autonomy of his wines has been his main goal right from the start, in order to implement his ideas with as little influence as possible to differentiate himself from the competition. But independence is not one of the simplest endeavors: The separately developed vineyards, the manual work that goes down to the...

We are a family business in Bechtheim, located in southern Rheinhessen, near Worms. We cultivate all our vineyards ourselves, because the quality of the wine begins in the vineyard. We vinify it ourselves in our cellar and bottle it ourselves. The name of the Friederich family's wine estate, Wartsteigerhof, is due to the historic past of this road, this sunken road was already known as Roman army road to Mainz. For centuries, the "Wartturm" at the height of the ravine was the landmark of Bechtheim. It was...
