Winery Gerharz-Hochthurn

Since 1992, Ursula and Tilo Hochthurn have been managing the Mediterranean-style winery Gerharz-Hochthurn in Gau-Algesheim. The modern-oriented farm now manages about 20 ha of vineyards in the fourth generation. The vines grow in Gau-Algesheim, Ingelheim and Horrweiler. Due to the lime-rich, deep soils and slopes, a variety of wines in terms of minerality and aromas is possible. Tilo Hochthurn proudly presents his convincing Rieslings and Pinots. Newcomers such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc can also be found in the range. The children Anne and Marius are actively involved in business activities. Daughter Carina Hochthurn graduated as a winegrower and now studies viticulture and oenology in Geisenheim. In the modern wine cellar, the estate wines can be tasted; It can also be booked for festivities. An park invites you to linger.
