'Rheinwelle' offers fun and relaxation.
In the midst of rhinehessian fruit plantations, between Bingen, Ingelheim and Gau-Algesheim shimmers and sparkles it in the sun, the 'Rheinwelle'. Already the shape of the building is extraordinary: it's built after the shape of a wave and almost 'floats' through the adjoining fruit plantations.
The inside is flooded with light, the wide windows give the impression that you lay directlly between the fruit tree. The interior and the design of the outer surfaces are modelled after a meadow landscape in which reeds are growing and the fruit trees come into effect.
The bathing offer includes a 25-metre sports swimming pool with a one metre and three metre diving set-up, a learning swimming pool for beginners and an adventure pool with a flow channel and wave ball, a climbing fish and climbing wall and a giant slide. There's no space for getting bored but for playing and splahing around- it's fun for the whole family.
Two slides provide thrills which don't leave any wishes for action and velocity open. The tire slide is 96 metres long and represents pure excitement. Who wants to experience even more speed can try the red high speed slide. It's 59 metres long and accelerates to about 30km/h.
The very little bathing guests have fun in a small swimming pool while others look for recovery in the whirlpool or relax in the all year outdoor brine pool.
The 'Rheinwelle' offer is completed by a restaurant also inside the pool area which is also acxcessible for non-bathing visitors in a separated area.
