Golfing in a dreamlike setting Everything is right here: scenic beauty, a golf course that is counted among the 50 most beautiful courses in Germany, a hospitable family atmosphere, an attractive tourist environment. The golf course Holes 7 and 13 are played with a view of the Rotenfels - the highest cliff in Central Europe. Treacherous slopes, bending, rather long holes (approx. 5.8 km), hundreds of beech and oak trees, the view of the Rotenfels steep face - all this makes "Drei Buchen" unique. The loving, nature-oriented design with ponds, biotopes, works of art and dry stone walls contributes significantly to this. In the pioneering phase, golfers first had to gather stones before the season began. In 1971, just 25 men and women set out to build a golf course. In the meantime, the number of members rose to almost 900, and now they, too, had to contend with demographic change. After the opening in 1974, the course was gradually expanded to 18-hole standard. For years, the "Drei Buchen" course has been one of the top 50 golf courses in Germany where national competitions are held. The club has also enjoyed sporting success. The men made it into the 1st Bundesliga, became German Team Champions in 1993 and took part in the European Championships in the same year. Guests are welcome with no handicap limit. On weekends and public holidays, 10.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m., tee time reservations are required in advance. Only flights of 3-4 players are formed. The golf course has a restaurant with a beautiful terrace area.
