The Rhine Promenade is a historic park from the 1920s. Due to its attractive location and clear, classical design, it is one of the most important representative green spaces in the city of Worms. In addition to numerous gastronomic establishments, you will also find Kriemhild's Rosengarten here, a work of art designed by the artist Eichfelder that can be experienced, walked through and changes throughout the year.
The Hagen Monument, a bronze statue erected in 1905, commemorates the sinking of the legendary treasure of the Nibelungen into the waters of the Rhine. Directly next to the Hagen statue is the jetty, from which regular excursion boats travel up and down the Rhine from Worms in the summer months.
Timetable information
Adjacent to the promenade is the mighty Nibelungen Tower, which towers over the bridge of the same name and today serves as a leisure and meeting place for Christian scouts.
