The competition

Once a year, wine producers, as well as wine-related companies from the tourism, catering and hotel sectors of the member regions, come to the competition.

The best-of-exits start at the regional level. These winners will then meet the other winners in their category in an international comparison. Traditionally, the award ceremony takes place at the final of the annual general meeting.

In addition to wine and food, innovative wine tourism, wine tourism service, accommodation and sustainable practices for wine tourism, the categories include art and culture as well as architecture, parks and gardens. The application is not only open to wine producers, but also hotels, restaurants and all companies with a special wine tourism offer.
