Only archaeology can take a deep look into human history and from what archaeologists find there, we learn a lot about ourselves. In the exhibitions of LEIZA, everyone can discover interactively and digitally supported why archaeology is so interesting for all of us and what value it holds for us in the here and now.
Our permanent exhibition "Living Together" addresses the question of what connects us as people living in communities and why we still act so differently. It looks at togetherness – from the Stone Age village to the Byzantine Empire – thus focusing on an area of research at LEIZA.
