The Wiesenmühle ist an old mill that is no longer in operation. The premises were acquiered in 1816 by the miller and ancestor of today´s Schilling family, Johann Mundorf I. The Wiesenmühle ist still a familiy business today, run by the sixth an seventh generations of Dr. Gerhard, Johannes und Uli Schilling. Farming and viticulture are practiced her to this day.
At the idyllic "Woog", the old village pond, various groups take turns running the popular wine meeting place.
In 2014, the winery moved to the outskirts of Bosenheim, but already has a tradition of over 100 years. In the meantime, Sebastian and Kathrin Korrell, the 6th generation, continue the business. True to the motto "tradition and modernity", constant change is taking place, but the focus is always on the tradition that laid the foundation.
Our winery has been located in the heart of the red wine town of Ingelheim for over 100 years. Tradition and quality are the hallmarks of our family business, which cultivates 13.5 hectares of vineyards in the best locations of Ingelheim. Through selective hand harvesting, we obtain red wines full of character and fine fruity white wines. Wine tastings are available for up to 20 people. The winery Biegler&Brand emerged out of the merge of two tradtitional wineries. Andreas Biegler and Petra Brand cultivates 46 hectares of vineyard area with lots of experience and a passion for good wine. The goal are authentic wines that 'mirror the diversity of our grounds'. On the red the Riesling and burgundy vines have best conditions for terroir influenced wines. Classics like Silvaner or blue portuguese and new breeds like Scheurebe, Würzer or Huxelrebe thrive to be wines that taste on limestone weathering, clay and loess…
Here you can buy chilled wines and sparkling wines 24/7, i.e. around the clock. Whether for the next hike on the Hiwwelt Tour, as a quick souvenir for friends at the weekend or a spontaneous purchase in the evening. The vending machine is stocked with seasonal products such as mulled wine. Age restriction by identity card or driving licence.
‘Finger Food’ is the theme of the cookery course in Nickl's pantry until summer 2025. From 18:00, a 4-course menu will be cooked together and tasted afterwards. Max. 12 participants cook for approx. 2.5 hours, ending around 22:30 The culinary evening costs €129 per person.
