Hiwwelrast at the cuckoo tower The Weinrast at the Hiwweltour Aulheimer Tal. From April to October, the Bornheim winegrowers serve wine at the cuckoo tower every 4th weekend of the month. Small snacks, soft drinks and wines from the local winegrowers are served on these weekends. Try the freshly harvested fruits from the fields of Rheinhessen at the farm shop Hochhaus, directly along the Selztal cycle route in the centre of Nieder-Olm. Seasonal produce from their own orchards and fields, juices seccos, jams and much more is on offer. The family business with a rich heritage since 1866 is committed to growing fruit and vegetables sustainably and responsibly. Their stalls also operate on weekly markets within the region.
